The Local Plan for Warwick District was approved by Warwick District Council on Wednesday 20th September 2017.

The plan includes 13,000 new homes to be built across the area by 2029, which will make up a total of 16,776 taking into account projects which have already started or have been completed since 2011.

The Canal Conservation Area was officially designated by Warwick District Council in 2018 and includes the stretch of the canal running through Leamington Spa from where it enters the town from Warwick and where it leaves the town into Radford Semele. More info can be found here:
